Merry Christmas

Our tree is up and people are stranded at Heathrow airport due to frozen fog it must be Christmas time ! We were lucky enough to get a visit from friends who had to re-book flights and ended up with a spare day to see us.
Darcy is getting bigger by the day ( she put on 1/2 a lb this week) and as you can see in the picture she already looks up to her big sister, Holly. How sweet!

We hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

A Little Update

Darcy had her 2 week checkup and she has put on 11 oz ! As I was only in the hospital 24 hours I have no idea what she lost from birth weight, but she was 6 lb 3 oz at birth and 6 lb 14 oz at 2 weeks. So nursing is going well, but I am still looking forward the time when I get longer between feeds, especially at night!
Dan is off work this week and it will be really nice having him home to help out and for us to spend time as a family and the getting ready for Christmas.

More Pictures

A little update as to how everyone is doing and some more pictures.
Anne-Marie and Darcy are starting to get more sleep with usually one four hour gap between feeds during the night. We have even had one night with two, four hour gaps between feeds. Lets have more of them please! Grandma goes home on Tuesday and that will be hard for Holly and Anne-Marie but we are already looking to book flights to go back to Canada for May/June time. Can't wait to see everyone!
The weather here is English wintery, on and off rain, grey and chilly. The last two nights have been very cold with hard frosts, maybe we will get some snow!
Holly got a place at the preschool and starts in Jan., she will be going 2 half days a week. We had her orientation lunch last week and she is very excited about going already!

Some more pictures

These are from yesterday. Darcy with eyes open and Holly at the park. Everyone is doing well, luckily Darcy is a good eater so we are just now trying to get some rest in between feeds and everything else!
